Chat messaging modules & options

The Chat Messaging search type exposes five Modules in the captured build, all targeting Telegram: Telegram Chat Messages, Telegram Channel Full Member List, Telegram User Lookup, Telegram Channel Lookup, and Telegram User Historic Pictures. Each is a single-purpose Module — this search type does not offer OneScan. Your choice between them is which Telegram lookup to run. The five Modules

Caution

Only the default Telegram Chat Messages Module was captured in detail. Its cost ($0.50, fixed), its input (Message text), and its data source (TelemetryApp) are the only directly observed values for the search type. The Cost per search for the other four Modules was not captured — do not assume they also cost $0.50 — and their inputs are inferred from the Module names, not confirmed against the app. Always read the Cost per search line and the input field shown on-screen before you run any of them.

Telegram Chat Messages

Telegram Chat Messages is the lead Module and is pre-selected when you open the Chat Messaging search type. It searches Telegram chat messages for matching terms across public channels and groups.

• Input: a Message text field — the phrase you expect to find in public Telegram traffic.
• Cost: the line beneath the input reads $0.50 — a fixed per-search charge.
• Data source: TelemetryApp, shown on the tile as (Data: TelemetryApp).
• Result: any matches are marked Found, and the results table’s Data Source column shows TelemetryApp.

The channel and user Modules

The remaining four Modules switch the active lookup — and the input field — when selected. Each targets Telegram, but expects a channel or a user rather than message text:

• Telegram Channel Full Member List — returns the full member list of a Telegram channel. Expects a Telegram channel (inferred).
• Telegram User Lookup — returns profile detail for a Telegram user. Expects a Telegram user (inferred).
• Telegram Channel Lookup — returns profile detail for a Telegram channel. Expects a Telegram channel (inferred).
• Telegram User Historic Pictures — returns previously used profile pictures for a Telegram user. Expects a Telegram user (inferred).

The data source behind each Module

Caution

Only Telegram Chat Messages surfaced a data source label — (Data: TelemetryApp). The data sources behind Telegram Channel Full Member List, Telegram User Lookup, Telegram Channel Lookup, and Telegram User Historic Pictures were not captured. Because all five Modules target Telegram they may share TelemetryApp, but that mapping was not confirmed on screen — none is asserted here. OneScan and per-search options

Caution

In the captured build the Chat Messaging search type shows no OneScan Module, no Choose Data Source configuration modal, and no per-search filters or entity-type tabs. The five Modules run on their own, each against a single data source. This differs from search types such as Username Intelligence or Public Leaks, where OneScan and a Choose Data Source modal are available. Which Module opens first

Caution

The pre-selected Telegram Chat Messages tile is the app’s fixed out-of-box default for this Search type (per Lee, 2026-07-10), not your last-used choice. You can still click any other Module before running — just confirm its Cost per search line first.
