TelemetryApp

TelemetryApp is an integrated data source (a Module) in UserSearch. It indexes public Telegram activity, letting you search messages, look up users and channels, and pull member lists and historic profile pictures. In UserSearch, TelemetryApp is the data source behind the Chat search type.

Official site: not published. See the reliability note below.

TelemetryApp is a Telegram-focused OSINT data source. It works against public Telegram channels and groups — the messages, memberships and profile artefacts that are openly visible — and makes them searchable by identifier. That makes it the reference source when your starting point is a Telegram username, a channel, or a piece of text you expect to find in public Telegram traffic, and you want to see where it appears and who is behind it.

When you run a Chat search, TelemetryApp supplies Telegram intelligence such as:

  • Message search across public channels and groups — find posts matching your query text
  • Channel member lists — the visible membership of a public channel
  • User lookup — profile detail for a Telegram user
  • Channel lookup — profile detail for a Telegram channel or group
  • Historic profile pictures — previously used avatars for a user

TelemetryApp powers the lead Module of the Chat Messaging search type. At v2.0.20 the Telegram Chat Messages Module is labelled Data: TelemetryApp on its tile; the data sources behind the other four Telegram Modules are not shown on screen, so whether TelemetryApp also backs them is unconfirmed. All five query Telegram through a different lens each time:

Chat ModuleWhat you look up
Telegram Chat MessagesMessages across public channels and groups matching your query
Channel Full Member ListThe visible member list of a public channel
User LookupProfile detail for a Telegram user
Channel LookupProfile detail for a Telegram channel or group
User Historic PicturesPreviously used profile pictures for a user

All five Modules target the same platform (Telegram), so switching Modules changes the query shape and the input field. Only Telegram Chat Messages has a confirmed data source (TelemetryApp) — do not assume the other four share it.

  1. Select the Chat search type.
  2. Pick the Module that matches your starting point — for example Telegram Chat Messages for text search, or User Lookup for a specific Telegram user.
  3. Enter your target (for Telegram Chat Messages, the text you want to find; for the lookup Modules, a username or channel).
  4. Confirm the Cost per search shown on screen before you run.
  5. Select Search Now.
  6. Review the results. Any matches are marked Found, and the Data Source column shows TelemetryApp.
